Last month, I had the sudden urge to go somewhere. Having straight two days off, I went to where is the Japan’s largest sand dunes, Tottori sand dunes. So I pack my things and off I go to Tottori city via the fastest train transportation in Japan, the shinkansen. But unfortunately, I wasn’t lucky on that two days I had. It was raining cats and dogs when I got there (disadvantages of sudden trips…). Though it was raining, I enjoyed the place in slow pace and ala JENPONIX way. Getting to and from the places I went was easy. They have these 100-yen buses wherever you get off and a bus going to the sand dunes which is great and convenient for me. The place where I stayed was also great. Drop Inn Tottori Luxury Capsule Hotel is really true to its name. Great ambiance, great location from the train station, clean capsule rooms, good breakfast, and nice staffs.

From Nagoya, take the shinkansen to Himeji then transfer to the limited express train Hakuto to Tottori.
Watch out for my next posts as I will bring you to these places one by one thru pictures ala JENPONIX.
