Thailand: Dog in Town Cafe’ Bangkok

December 21, 2017

Are you a fan of those furry friends? When in Thailand, there are many dog cafes I guess, but I chose this dog cafe over others because in this cafe you have unlimited time to touch and play with their friendly alaskan malamute, siberian husky, samoyed, corgi, collie, french bulldog, westy, and schnauzer breed of dogs. These 9 brothers will make your stay worth-it, fun and memorable just like what I experienced. They are just waiting for everyone’s visit. The staff also let them run around the front yard like what I caught up to when I arrived in the cafe almost 7 in the evening. Though I only have an hour to spare for these furry friends, I enjoyed the food and the time hugging these cute animals. You can also feed them with the cafe’s dog food. By the way, this cafe is also a dog hotel which you can bring your furry friends, but unfortunately, this service is temporarily unavailable.

Dog in Town Cafe is open daily, Sunday-Thursday (11am-8pm); Friday-Saturday (11am-9pm) and due to monthly dog’s checkup, they are close on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. There is no entrance fee in the cafe but you have to order at least one beverage or food or else you will pay 250THB. For their cafe menu (as of August 2017), you can visit HERE. I recommend the Dog in Town cocktail beer and steamed rice with crispy pork. Tried and tested, it taste great. If I can go back here, maybe I’ll order some of their recommended dishes and drinks.

From Ekkamai BTS station, walk along Sukhumvit 63 Rd. then Soi Ekkamai 6 then go straight 200 meters then turn right at the first corner and the cafe is on the left side.
