Hello! Is it me you’re looking for? (insert singing Lionel Ritchie’s song here…) I am listening on this tune while typing this post and lost of words for my introduction. It’s been a while, right? Again, here’s your miss MIA, posting a blogpost for all of you.
Early this year, I was shocked of a big news and that news will be revealed to you soon. Together with that surprise, I was able to go to Tagaytay with the boyfriend. We went to Manila to watch a PBA game of his favorite team as my birthday gift for him. The next day, we went to Tagaytay for a day tour. Being lazy, we booked Hometel & Tagaytay Tours for our Tagaytay day tour with a side trip in the Philippine’s Disneyland, Fantasy World. It was supposed to be a group package tour but we didn’t expect we were the only one in the tour. It was like we were in a private tour with a package tour price. We were picked up early in the morning and bring back to our hotel in the evening. We went to People’s Park, Picnic Grove for lunch, side trip in Batangas and to end the day at Sky Ranch.
People’s Park in the Sky
This is a historical urban park in Tagaytay. It’s a place where you can see and overlook the Taal volcano. Unfortunately, it was foggy that day that we can’t see clearly the beauty of the famous volcano. It’s like a mansion with remnants of the past.
Picnic Grove Tagaytay
If you want to have a better view of the splendid, panoramic view of Taal volcano while enjoying your lunch and some activities, you can bet on Picnic Grove. This is our second place in our itinerary where we ate our lunch of the recommended “bulalo” and with the delicious “sisig” i’ve tasted. And yes, it was a sumptuous lunch we had. Let’s just not remember how many cups of rice we ate. LOL. We also did our souvenir shopping here. They also have activities such as horseback riding to and from the Taal volcano, zipline and many more where families can enjoy.
Next stop was the Philippine’s Disneyland, as what they’ve said. It is located in Lemery, Batangas. I am not sure how far it was from Tagaytay as I fell asleep during the trip. It was supposed to be a themed park like the Disneyland in HK, USA and Japan but because of financial problems, it was not realized and remained unfinished.
Trivia: This place was the location of the evening fantasy drama of GMA7’s Majika starring Angel Locsin and Dennis Trillo.
This is an amusement park in the south of Metro Manila where people of all ages can enjoy from food destinations, and great rides. We wasn’t able to ride any rides because of the long queues. But we still enjoyed ourselves through food tripping and conversations in between until we decided to go home already.
It was a great experience Tagaytay. See you soon! If will be able to come back, we will be going to the Taal volcano ng malapitan and Starbucks Tagaytay, wait for us! Yosh! Have a blast everyone! See you!
